DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will guide the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge products, working closely with our mobile app development team to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Your tasks will extend to monitoring the performance and reliability of our services, conducting thorough assessments of deployments for security vulnerabilities, and maintaining our dedicated server infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Additionally, you will serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Brazil, overseeing compliance with data protection regulations and implementing measures to safeguard data integrity and privacy. Your expertise in managing data protection requirements, especially within the Brazilian regulatory framework, will be crucial in upholding our privacy and security standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Guide the design, development, and deployment of CI/CD pipelines using DevOps methodology, working closely with our development team to streamline the release process of our products and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software
- Monitor services' performance and reliability, conduct thorough assessments of deployments for security issues, and maintain our dedicated server infrastructure
- Manage our existing data pipeline, particularly with Airflow, to optimize data processing and efficiency
- Create and maintain clear documentation for processes and changes
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related fields, highlighting your proficiency in infrastructure management, process automation, and fostering effective team dynamics
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux, GitLab, and Docker, showcasing your ability to navigate these platforms with precision and effectiveness
- Working knowledge and familiarity of network concepts and their correlation with container security (including DNS, firewalls, exposed ports, etc.)
- Proven track record of strong troubleshooting skills and adeptness in root cause assessment, ensuring swift resolution of complex issues
- Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Android/iOS build processes
- Fluent in English
You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with Debian Linux
- Familiarity with FastLane
- Knowledge of NodeJS
- Skill in the Go programming language
- Proficiency in PHP
- Familiarity with MySQL databases
- Experience with managing data pipelines, particularly with Airflow
This is a position with a PJ (Pessoa Jurídica) type of contract.
