Talent Manager, North America

In this role, you’ll play a key role in expanding our brand’s reach by onboarding new talent to essential systems, promoting talent growth, and achieving revenue goals through creative campaigns and strategic partnerships. This position requires strong engagement with internal teams to ensure that talent-focused initiatives align with Team Liquid’s standards and vision.
Location: Los Angeles, CA. Candidates are required to be located in Los Angeles and be in our Facility in Santa Monica at least four days a week.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Build productive relationships with influencers, guiding them through onboarding processes and ensuring they increase familiarity with internal application tools.
- Act as the primary contact for talent, maintaining regular updates, providing guidance, and creating approaches that encourage talent alignment with our brand over time.
- Work with talent to develop content that resonates with Team Liquid fans and represents the brand effectively.
- Partner with internal teams to create fan-focused initiatives, and provide insights to enhance talent’s audience engagement.
- Offer ongoing feedback and structured development plans to help talent grow in ways that align with Team Liquid’s brand.
- Contribute to structured growth paths that align with Team Liquid’s vision.
- Act as a resource, providing industry insights and brand direction that empower talent to expand their influence.
- Design and coordinate campaign terms with content creators to ensure alignment with both talent and Team Liquid’s goals.
- Oversee the campaign process from planning through completion, reviewing engagement metrics to optimize future activations.
- Develop proposals for talent engagements that align with campaign goals, budgets, and performance targets.
- Manage logistics, including travel and expenses, to ensure smooth, cost-effective events for talent.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain unified campaign activities.
- Utilize application tools for effective communication and task tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that talent initiatives meet operational standards.
- Pursue and close Influencer Sales Deals (ISDs), focusing on achieving sales targets and generating revenue through talent partnerships.
- Coordinate with Talent Strategists on sales deliverables and assist with financial reporting.
- Oversee selected activations with external talent to meet partner goals and align with Team Liquid’s brand, customizing performance tracking as needed.
What You'll Need:
- 3-5+ years in influencer marketing, talent management, or a related field, with a strong background in managing creator partnerships, meeting revenue goals, and running campaigns.
- Experience in onboarding and training talent on brand standards, compliance, and tracking tools.
- Proficiency in reviewing data to provide insights that improve campaign results.
- Excellent communication skills for working with talent and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally.
- Genuine interest in gaining deeper insights into the gaming and esports space.
You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:
- A record of establishing partnerships that meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Experience in brand marketing or content strategy within an agency or corporate setting.
- Experience managing contracts, budgets, and financial aspects of partnerships.
Benefits:
The salary range for CA is: $69,000.00 - $75,000.00
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
