As the Event Manager, NA, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of live and digital events that bring Team Liquid’s brand to life. Working closely with the Senior Event Manager, NA, you’ll manage event logistics, vendor coordination, budgets, and cross-functional coordination. Whether it’s an esports tournament, a branded fan activation, or a large-scale convention, you’ll play a key role in delivering memorable experiences for our community and partners worldwide.
Location: Los Angeles, CA. Candidates are required to be located in Los Angeles and be in our Facility in Santa Monica at least three days a week.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Plan and execute live and digital events that enhance Team Liquid’s fan experience and brand presence.
- Manage event logistics, including vendor selection, scheduling, contract negotiations, venue coordination, and on-site execution.
- Work with large-scale event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, venues, and contractors, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards and quality expectations.
- Oversee on-site event operations, manage staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
- Evaluate event success, track performance metrics, and implement improvements for future activations.
What You’ll Need:
- 2-4+ years of experience in event management, preferably within gaming, esports, entertainment, or a related industry.
- Proven expertise in executing large-scale events, including in-person activations, tournaments, and fan experiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple events, vendors, and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Google Suite & Microsoft Office, with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and event documentation.
- Valid passport & ability to travel (~25% domestic and international travel required).
- A genuine interest in esports and gaming, with a desire to create best-in-class fan experiences.
- Fluent in English

- Knowledge of large-scale fan activations, conventions, or industry-specific event strategies.
- A track record of developing innovative event concepts that enhance audience engagement.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-changing environments and manage on-the-fly event adjustments.
Additional Requirements:
- This role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Approximately 25% travel is required, including both domestic and international events.
Benefits:
The salary for CA is: $70,000.00 per year
