Sales & Partnerships Manager

In this role, you’ll oversee daily partner relationships, assist with the execution of partner deliverables, and identify opportunities for growth. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and successful partnership outcomes across the gaming and esports ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partnership Management
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned partner companies.
- Oversee the daily coordination, communication, and delivery of partner projects.
- Work cross-functionally (marketing, content, operations, talent) to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Identify upsell and renewal opportunities within existing partnerships.
- Track and maintain accurate Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) for assigned partners.
- Assist with the creation of partner reports and recaps that highlight value and performance.
- Represent Team Liquid at partner activations, meetings, and events (including occasional evenings/weekends).
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop new business opportunities—from lead identification through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure (with leadership assistance as needed).
- Manage a small portfolio of accounts with defined revenue goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, brands, creators, and vendors.
- Identify revenue opportunities across Team Liquid platforms and contribute to proposals and pitch development.
- Assist with negotiations and deal structuring for new and existing partners.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork
- Coordinate with marketing managers and project owners to ensure accurate and timely execution of deliverables.
- Contribute to team documentation, process improvements, and best practices.
- Help execute ad hoc projects, administrative needs, and internal initiatives that improve team efficiency.
- Partner with and provide assistance for team members as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years of B2B sales, partnerships, or account management experience, ideally within media, sponsorships, or talent partnerships.
- Experience contributing or closing revenue-generating deals.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A genuine interest in gaming, esports, sports, or online entertainment communities.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work with self-direction and cross-functionally.
- Experience documenting processes and reporting using tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, or ClickUp.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% for partner and event needs.
You’ll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience managing partnerships in regulated industries (such as betting, gaming, fintech, or similar).
- B2B sales experience, including hands-on experience closing deals and generating revenue.
- Fluency in Dutch or another additional language.
